About Us
We are a guitar/vocal duo based near Chester, NS who specialize in swing era tunes made famous by artists like Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Rodgers and Hart, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, and Nat King Cole.
Jazzette features the voice of Cynthia Myers and the guitar of her husband, Tom Myers. We have been playing music together for almost as long as we have been a couple.
A big part of our sound comes from the other musicians we have been fortunate enough to play with the last few years. Holding down the bottom end is our good friend Barry Redmond on tea-box bass. On clarinet – the incomparable John Malmstrom.
